What is AI?

AI systems can make mistakes, provide inaccurate information and should never replace trusted adults, teachers or professional advice.

How you can help

Talk about AI

Encourage critical thinking
Teach children to question what they see online and not to assume that AI-generated content is always accurate or trustworthy.

Check privacy controls on devices, apps and online accounts. Ensure children understand the importance of protecting personal information.

Set clear expectations
Agree sensible rules for using AI tools at home, including when they can be used and when children should seek help from an adult instead.
