Our school welcomes all children and families from our local community. Seymour Park is a COMMUNITY Primary School maintained by Trafford Local Authority (Council).

This means that Trafford manages the admissions to our school (except in Nursery). Trafford determines which children are offered a place at Seymour Park based upon their Admissions Criteria. At Seymour Park Community Primary School we have a Published Admissions Number of 84 pupils per year group.

Trafford publishes its Admissions details on the Trafford Council website. The Trafford Admissions team is accessible by calling 0161 912 5007

Nursery

The school nursery does not fall into this category, so we manage admissions to our Nursery. Check our Nursery Admissions Policy for information on how we determine admission.

Morning Sessions - 8.30am - 11.30am
Afternoon Sessions - 12.15pm - 3.15pm
Full time Sessions - 8.30am - 3.15pm

A child can only be placed in one of the above sessions. No mixed sessions are

In addition to the 30-hour funding, there is an additional fee of £2.00 per day. This
covers the one-hour lunch time supervision provided for your child (this does not
cover the cost of your child's meal which is provided from home.)

If you are not eligible for the 30-hour government funding, you may claim your 15
hours universal funding and use our top up facility chargeable at £75.00 per week to
receive a full-time place.

All fees and charges are reviewed on an annual basis

If you would like to add your child’s name to the nursery waiting list, please

If you would like any further information regarding nursery admissions, please

If you are interested in sending your children to our school then please contact the school for details of upcoming tour dates and parent welcome events. Our children are always available to show off their school.

Trafford manages the Admissions process for entrance to secondary school on-line. There are also paper copies of the admissions forms sent to Year 5 pupils at the end of the summer term of Year 5. These are sent directly to the home address, not to school. Please contact the Admissions Team on 0161 912 5007 if you need help completing the forms online or paper. Please come and speak to us if you are not sure what to do.
