Ofsted

Seymour Park Community Primary is a highly successful school. Our school is graded as outstanding by Ofsted (2010) and our children’s achievements are significantly above the national averages by the end of Key Stage Two. We are very proud of our success.

As an ambitious school, we have the highest of expectations for our children and school family. Each year we set priorities for school improvement based on an evaluation of the previous year. Last year, our response to the Covid-19 pandemic was rightly prioritised as we sought to protect our school family and maintain our children's learning and development. Below is our school improvement summary from last year:

SPCPS School Improvement Plan Summary 2020This year, as we move forward, our school improvement priorities are informed by the impact of the pandemic on our children. Our priorities for 2021/2022 are outlined below:

Develop oracy and language skills across the school

Improve the quality of education in PE

Introduction of new synthetic phonics programme

Embed changes to Seymour Park Experience (Our curriculum)
