PE & Sports Premium

The government provides additional funding of £150 million per year to improve provision of physical education (PE) and sport in primary schools. This funding is ring-fenced and can only be spent on provision of PE and sport in schools. It is up to schools to decide where and how they will use this additional funding, but it should be used to make sustainable improvements the quality of PE and sport in school.
Our Sports Premium statement explains how we spend this funding and its impact on our school.

Our sports on offer to the children outside the curriculum are varied and run in different terms, they include : Football- boys, mixed and girls only, Cricket, Multiskills/sports, Karate, Dodgeball, Cross country (athletics)

We also have wonderful enrichment lessons from year 1 to year 6 giving the children the opportunity to try a new and different sport. Last year we took part in fencing and this year it will be archery.
