Our key values underpin all we do at Seymour Park; we Respect, Care, and Grow. 

This is where our children begin their Seymour Park Experience and join our school family. Our EYFS curriculum allows children to develop interpersonal skills, build resilience, and become creative thinkers. We aim to provide a fun, secure, challenging, and rich educational environment that enables each individual to thrive! Parents are valued as first educators and every effort is made to inform them of the EYFS curriculum whilst providing them with the tools to continue learning at home. 

The Seymour Park EYFS curriculum is designed to develop the characteristics of effective learning: 

● Creating and thinking critically – children have and develop their own ideas, make links between ideas, and develop strategies for doing things. 

● Active learning – children keep on trying if they encounter difficulties, and enjoy their achievements. 

● Playing and exploring – children investigate and experience things, and ‘have a go’.

Hello Nursery parents and carers,

It’s been lovely welcoming you all and beginning to settle the children into Nursery. We have especially enjoyed seeing all the children come into nursery. Every child now has been allocated their key worker it will be Mrs O’Neill our nursery teacher or Miss Phillips, Mrs Kharodia, Miss Pappoe or Mrs Nagdi, our nursery teaching assistants. 

We are focusing on developing children’s wellbeing and independence, using a variety of books to support this, including ‘The Colour Monster’ by Anna Llenas. 

Fun learning ideas will be added to Google Classroom every week so please do have a look at them.

Please remember to label all your child’s belongings, including hats and gloves.

Our nursery times are 8.30 – 11.30 and 12.15 – 3.15
