Parent Governor Candidates 2024

Very soon after my daughter started nursery at Seymour Park, I realised the significant role it would play in shaping my children’s lives. As a mother to two young children with a professional background in brand marketing at a leadership level, I would like to play a small part in moulding the future success of a school that means so much. By doing the best for its pupils and upholding the strong vision and values that have already served the community well.

I have lived in old Trafford now for over 8 years and have two children who attend the school. I have been a registered nurse for over 15 years and am currently based in an acute hospital in greater Manchester. During my time in the NHS as well as working in high care, medical and surgical ward areas I have worked in safeguarding and quality assurance across the trust. During the pandemic I also worked quite heavily in helping role out Vaccinations to the staff group and local community. While I have never undertaken a role such as this, I am however keen to work with everyone at Seymour Park to continue the great work that’s been done to make this school as well thought off and popular as it is now. In my spare time I enjoy watching football and going to the Hundred and T20 cricket, I also enjoy trying to unsuccessfully better myself at chess.
